Charlie Ellin and Barry Kurzer recognized for their outstanding service to the refuge

Recently, Charlie Ellin and Barry Kurzer were recognized at the Volunteer Appreciation Event hosted by Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge staff.  Each gentleman received an award for their outstanding service to the refuge.  Charlie was selected as BBNWR Volunteer of the Year for 2020. Barry was selected as BBNWR Volunteer of the Year for 2021. 

Both men are active Society members and both serve on the Board of Directors.  They give tirelessly of their time and have been instrumental to the success of many projects, initiatives, and events for the betterment of BBNWR and the Society.
